I have a passion for helping people and an unconditional positive regard for each individual I meet. I offer a supportive, interactive, and non-judgmental atmosphere in which to help you deal with issues that are troubling you.  In my practice I utilize several modalities of treatment including talk therapy,  EMDR, mindfulness and meditation, and DBT to treat, PTSD, depression, anxiety, relationship issues,  substance abuse/dependence and many other issues. In life we all strive to find acceptance, love, good relationships, and a feeling of connection. Trauma and life stressors can block our ability to find the happiness we deserve. If you are feeling stuck and or struggling  and are looking to heal and get to a place of happiness  in your life I can help you.  My  13 years of clinical experience provide a depth of understanding to help you facilitate the changes you want to make. I offer short-term and long-term counseling for  individuals and couples therapy. I am experienced in working with adults and adolescents.

I am a certified yoga teacher and utilize yogic breathing and mindfulness in my work as a therapist. I have had my own yoga practice for 30 years and have made yoga asanas, pranayama, and meditation a part of my daily life. I specialize in helping people struggling with difficult relationships, situations, and emotions by providing healing through talk therapy, EMDR therapy, and many other techniques to heal mind, body, and spirit.  My studies of spirituality and Reiki energy healing have helped me to gain insights into healing the person as a whole.

I see each person as an individual with their own unique set of strengths and circumstances. I believe that emotional healing can be brought about within the framework of relationships. In my therapeutic process I strive to create a safe environment where clients can work through troubling life issues that may be hindering them from reaching their true potential. I believe it's possible in therapy to gain insight into our deepest desires to make a deeper connection within ourselves and with others. Within the therapeutic bond clients learn to develop successful communication skills leading to more meaningful relationships with themselves and their loved ones.
